  • Fråga: please help, age and name of pattern

Greetings from Finland! I would be veery haappy if anyone could help me with this: a Rörstrand serving dish, size 35x28,5 cm, pattern colour violet.

Bottom: RÖRSTRAND is about 2 mm high, KE about 5 mm, "5" is 5 mm and
"15" is about 4 mm. RÖRSTRAND, KE and 15 are inside the mass.

What might be the name of this pattern and how old is the plate?
I am so sorry I don't know anything about Swedish porcelain (yet), because we have Arabia here in Finland, and I've been busy enough trying to learn stuff of Arabia.
Naturally you can answer in Swedish, too; (jag läser lite svenska) but my written swedish would be too much for your eyes

Thank you so much! Wiivi from Finland

Det finns tydligen fler i samma serie:

Hittade det här på rörstrands musei hemsida: http://www.rorstrand-museum.se/stampel_rak.html

Nu är jag bara nybörjare, men tycker ändå att den liknar din raka stämpel?

Hi and welcome to the forum Wiivi!

I hope you will enjoy it and find it interesting.

Elciyon is right about the pattern and the impressed mark was used before 1884. The name of the pattern is Spets (Lace) and other names of this set are Lila spets, Gamla spetsmönstret, because of the border. The motives differ a lot, but in common they often are a bit exotic. The pattern was produced by the Rörstrand factory in the period 1837-1934, what makes it to one of the most popular and sold Swedish dinner sets.
